Very comfortable win.
1 nil up and in full control then Washington deservedly had a man sent off for a two footed tackle and we stepped off things and conceded an embarrassing goal from a set play.

2nd half was like keep ball and we created chance after chance and progressed to an away tie at Spennymoor.

Next up away at Guisborough on Saturday

Yes very good win and very good performance especially second half. We always looked well on top and created lots of good chances. A good all round team performance only marred by a couple of injuries. On to Guisborough on Saturday

Good solid performance and in truth, even when Washington had 11 men we seemed comfortable.....although some nervous moments from set pieces. Whilst we bossed the 2nd half we still look a little nervy in possession and on occasion make the wrong choices.....that comes with confidence though.

I watched Washington in pre-season and this was almost a completely different side so some big changes have happened even this early in the season, and I know a few have moved on. Mind you Ive never seen so many managerial changes in a league as early as this.....almost as bad as the Premier league !!!.....and don't know if this is normal for Northern League???

Two wins in a row is promising but a tough game on Saturday against a team who may have players available again after suffering a bit of an injury crisis (apparently).....hopefully we haven't got a growing list ourselves after last night.

On Football Matters last night Tom Wade selected this weekend's game against Guisborough to predict the score and he's gone for a Cestrian win 2-1.
