..... following the news, broken by Keith on the gate, of the sad passing (transfer) of Scott "Swanny" Swanston back to Wickham, Hodko led the tributes .....

"We feared the worst when he wasn't getting a starting place but hoped his inclusion against Seaham had brought him back into the picture. 110% is a figure often bandied around in football, if you ever got less than 150% then you thought Swanny had had a quiet game.

Always likely to nick one for you and a constant thorn in defenders sides often out leaping players 5 times his size.

Thoughts turn to the game last season when he was substituted (forget the game !),when applause rang out around Chester Moor park as soon as his number was shown and didn't stop until he'd settled into the dugout, after another great performance. "

I agree hodko the departure of swanny is a massive miss in my opinion!!

He has a influence on and off the pitch and like you said will always be a thorn in your side. Very sad to see him go, but could understand his frustration! All the best to the swan, he will do well wherever he goes!!
