Even tho' it ended 0-0 I thought it was a decent game - clearly a lot of work down between the home Billy Town game and this one.

Washington played their part and certainly look a hard working team who'll cause teams problems this season.

Both sides had periods of play where they looked lively - the only think missing being a bit of cutting edge upfront.

Doyle at RB looked much improved and got forward a few times, putting some good crosses into the box

Robson looked a lot fitter, Captain Donnas held us together on a number of occassions.

Adam Scope looked a very good signing, caused problems whenever he got the ball, Lynch also caused problems on a number of occassions. Buzzeo kept going when Washy started to pressure us. Would have liked to have seen more from Luke Proctor

Hepplewhite looked a handful but just wasn't Swannys day.

All in all a good number of positives, and progress since the BillyTown game ..... just need to get the ball moving quicker and get the ball into the strikers ..... all of which will come with games.
