Thought we played quite a decent game in the 1st half with Adam Strong full of energy causing problems with his direct runs, very Micky Carroll esq ..... 2nd half Billy Town got a foot hold and started to control the game without too many shots at the CLS goal.

New keeper looked decent, good kicking and wasn't really put under any huge pressure.

Captain Donna's had a good game, Robson along side him looks the part but is clearly struggling for fitness. Both full backs were put under a fair amount of pressure and just about managed.

Buzzeo looks a decent passer of the ball, when he gets his eye in ..... Kieron Mc 100% as usual, going in full blooded ..... Strong, needs more of the ball ..... Lynch had his moments too

Upfront Swanny was Swanny but he needs a partner to play off.

All in all, a number of positives and we're still in it !

What about Adam Scope. Thought he had signed. He played the pre season game
Against Durham that I watched last month and he played well.

I watched Benfield quite a bit last season and when he is fit he is a cracking little player. Getting him fit is the hard bit. Nice lad as well. Always said hello when I was at the ground. It's a shame to see him leave benfield.

Also Stephen buzzeo is a cracking signing. Like Adam was in the benfield team that won the league and for me was one of the stand out Players that year.
