With a massive thanks to our neighbour Redcar Town, who kindly lent us their Bowdry Sponge Roller yesterday which allowed our groundsman Paul Wilson, with some help from striker Adam Preston's father Percy and a little bit from yours truly, to remove gallons and gallons of standing water from the pitch. When we finished there were still a few small pockets remaining. I have just come back home after inspecting the pitch with Paul Wilson and cannot believe the difference. There is no water on the pitch whatsoever, although it is very heavy underfoot the closer you get to the far end goal. The game tonight is most definitely on so get yourselves down to the BM Bifolding Doors Stadium, Green Lane, Redcar for what looks to be a cracking local derby cup semi final game.

F-T 3-3. Wolviston won 5-4 on penalties. To say it was a cracker would be underselling this game. An absolute cracker. We took the lead with an Andy Jennings goal just 4 minutes into the game. Wolviston missed 2 sitters before netting twice in the final minute of the half. We levelled and then took the lead with 2 goals from Adam Preston. Philip Otele netted his hat trick to level with a brave finish. Wolviston then went on to win the penalty shoot out after Chris Bivens smashed his effort against the crossbar. Big crowd in attendance who were thoroughly entertained. Good luck to Wolviston in the final.

Thanks for that Little Fella, a very magnanimous report and it was certainly a cracker.

I’m delighted for the trio of Keith, Brian and Derek who graft tirelessly for this little club and hopefully they will enjoy the cup final day against an excellent West End side.

As with every game win, lose or draw I am very proud of the character of this squad. Obviously a little happy when we win.

Hope Redcar get the end of the season they are hoping for, Kev is a top man and fingers crossed for him.

Jenning playing again? Just helping out or looking to finish strong and ensure promotion by flashing the pound notes TLF?

He may have just accepted that it's true. :D not that I blame Redcar Ath if that is the case, Jennings has banged in over 100 goals for them in the last 2 seasons, always gets goals, doesn't come cheap.
