F-T Redcar Athletic 7 v 2 South Shields Reserves. Bryan Stewart, Daniel Drazdauskas, Michael Woodhouse, Anthony Jones (2), David Abel and an Adam Preston penalty were Redcar Athletic scorers. An own goal from Luke Woodall and a Whalen penalty were South Shields Reserves scorers. South Shields Reserves have a decent team which will get better with every game they play. They will finish in the top half of the table.

Heard that one before. Youve beat a team 7-2 yet there decent. So if they had of beat you 1-0 they would go onto win the league.

Hear it again. They will get better with every game. I was apprehensive to begin with not knowing what they were going to be like. They were rusty and possibly could have done with an easier start than us. But until we went 4-1 that was when I felt we could really relax. There was quite a few decent players in their side and this run out today would have blown away the cobwebs. Either that or you can believe they were crap and got hammered and are a poor side.
