UNBELIEVABLE......... the junk that some folk who havent got a clue but cast aspersions on here is UNBELIEVABLE.

Andy Collidge is without doubt the most hard working, knowledgeable, and LOYAL person I know, and ask anyone whom was involved at Easington was he succesfull as a manager at the club.......Yes,
In his time as chairman did he acheive his goal of seeing the club through to the end of the season after it looked as if they were going to fold....Yes (and by the way I know this included putting money in from his own pocket and for a lad with a young family that to me is the height of loyalty).

Anyone whom actually knows what they talking about will re-iterate all this and wherever Andy ends up I know he'll give the same commitment, knowledge, and LOYALTY that he has shown in his time at Easington

Nobody is really having a go at Andy (i dont think so anyway) and i know he done a top job at Easington (on limited resources) as you did at Peterlee (on zero resources)....lol, however he is big enough to stick up for himself, you did sound like a licky bum though (big time), If the Murton rumour is true (and are you going with him?) how will he do as they are totally skint (and he likes the old expences for his players and i dont blame him) and i dont think they are even in a league yet as they have resigned from the Northern Alliance and its looking doubtful if the Wearside will have them also.

Yes Dave, Easington will swap places with Ryhope automatically.

Agree it's unfair on Richmond not to get in, they look like outstanding candidates.

I don't think geographical location or how strong and powerful a team's reputation is will come into it. I believe the majority of the clubs will treat each club's application fairly when it comes to the voting. Look to recent voted in teams Scarborough Town and Newton Aycliffe, so Richmond Town should not really worry on that account. I think they were just unlucky to come up against Peterlee Town's strong application last year which won the votes. I have to admit I argued on here for teams to be promoted via winning or being runners up of their respective leagues, but I've mellowed somewhat and am now more open to the fact that if you have the facilities that meet the Wearside League's requirements, then okay why not?

Had a good chuckle at this after seeing your comments on the alliance forum (top draw)

Looks like you're an expert in the field, :D ha ha ha

Some good teams that have applied this year. As this is the first year i wont have a vote, i would love to see Chris Lindsted back into the Wearside League, hes got a good team at Lampton Street and Chris is a great lad. Good luck to all thats applied, i think the Wearside League will be a very competitive League next year who ever gets the nod.
