Alnwick is about 70 miles from Darlo isn't it? We'd be lucky to take 100 for a northern league cup game

Last season, only Whitley Bay (friendly), Ashington (friendly), North Shields and Northallerton (league) brought any sort of numbers to Alnwick. Other sides were less than 20 quite comfortably. If someone was to bring 100 fans at £4 each, you can see why we'd like to draw you in the cup!

And before anyone says it, Alnwick don't travel well either. 5-10 is probably the going rate for away games.

I think it would all depend on the day of the game and the position/situation we are in at that time. 100 generally is probably fair, nice April afternoon say with Darlington hunting for promotion/league champions would be a much larger number. However cold March night and not in the promotion hunt we would struggle to come in large numbers.

Our best home league gate last season was 220 against Alnwick just after New Year, there were a good 2 dozen from Alnwick more than most other clubs.

That was easily our biggest following of the season, and a couple of regulars weren't even able to attend.

No seating for visiting supporters?

I thought seating had to be provided for home and away use not just exclusively for home fans or am I wrong?

Hopefully the attendance will be higher than the lowest gate of the season so far at 107 people but the gate suffered today with Stokesley Show, Middlesbrough and Marske United at home.

You would think that possibly may be a rule.

You would think that the self proclaimed "biggest club in the Northern League" would show a bit of consideration to us forelock tugging minions and allocate some seating to our collective clubs more senior or less mobile followers.

Only "Quakerz" has proclaimed us "the biggest club in the Northern League" - therefore not Darlo "fans".

No Darlo fans have proclaimed us to be "the biggest club in the Northern League".

You've put yourself in the top 2 biggest clubs.

Just having a bit of a laugh with you. I won't bother in future, thanks for your backing.

Yeah, you were only saying - but I've already learned what some people are like on here, and what you said will be used against us in future :?

I didn't mean anything by it, was just pointing it out! Chill! I don't really think any club can claim to be bigger than someone else while at this level.
