EASINGTON COLLIERY v BILLINGHAM TOWN PREVIEW

Town are on a run of difficult league fixtures at the moment. Despite winning here a tad comfortably in the Earnest Armstrong Cup recently, Town face an Easington side who are more than capable of causing problems. After this fixture, Billingham will play three games in a row at home. On Tuesday, Town entertain Jarrow in the EAM Cup followed by league fixtures against Willington and Redcar Athletic respectively.

FOCUS ON EASINGTON:
The squad is predominantly the same as the one Town encountered in October. However, central midfielder, Ethan Wood who was noted as one of their stand out players, has since moved on to Newton Aycliffe. Full back Ryan Lincoln Barrow scored a well taken goal in the EAM Cup and Conor Short has also been on the scoresheet since his move from Bishop Auckland. Liam Adamson was pointed out to be the one to watch in our cup game but remained on the bench throughout. Former Town midfielder, Lewis Green has figured of late and could start the game. Goalkeeper Kyle Donaldson has impressed against Town in previous meetings but could be replaced by Keith Finch.

ONE TO WATCH: JACK POUNDER
Tall, strong and back in goal scoring form after a transient lean spell. Eight league goals this season albeit five of them came against Durham City. Scored the late winner in this fixture last season.

RECENT RESULTS:
Bishop Auckland 6-1 Easington (Pounder) - League Cup
West Allotment 1-2 Easington (Short, Pounder)
Ryton 3-1 Easington (Short) - Durham Challenge Cup
Easington 2-2 Chester Le Street (L.Cooke, Adamson)
Northallerton 6-2 Easington (Goundry, Wood)
Easington 2-1 Esh Winning (L.Cooke, Pounder)
Easington 1-3 BILLINGHAM TOWN (Lincoln-Barrow)
Bedlington 3-1 Easington (M.Cooke)

Last Season: Easington 1 Billingham Town 0

Elsewhere, Oliver Simpson edges closer to full fitness but Lewis McDonald could make his debut after signing from Marske United during the week.
