Game of the day on the North East non league scene, 3pm kick off at Heritage Park.

I think Bishops really need to win tomorrow to keep our hopes of challenging at the top this season alive. Similarly if Shildon dont win its the same for them.

Defiantly the game of the day hoping for a better ref than we have had of late seems to me a poor crop this year.

Game of the Day tomorrow, without question will be Dunston vs Gateshead in front of a sell out crowd.
Don’t get me wrong, Bishops vs Shildon is a big game in The Northern League, but the Fed vs The Heed is the biggest game tomorrow. I think the amount of media coverage that this game has been given and the amount of tickets sold possibly proves that as the case.

Decent crowd of 441 saw Bishops scrape a narrow 3pts today.

Pretty even 1st half, Winn fouled by an 'off the pace' Harwood just before half time. Cal Patton stroked home the penalty.

Shildon had majority of the play in 2nd half but Bishops defended well in the main (Galbraith & Liversedge outstanding) but struggled to have much influence going forward.

All about them 3pts!!!

I would say that is poor for a derby, and only £5 entrance and probably over half from shildon

Think it's been £6 for about 15 years now, but thanks for your interest.

Personally speaking Mut, I’d say the build up to the FA Cup game against Gateshead was more of an exciting build up. That’s based on years of following Dunston. The Vase semi was just a nervous day but a game I expected to get a result in.
The build up to The Gateshead game drew an unprecedented amount of media coverage both locally and nationally it also drew a full house which is something that has never happened before.
Once we won The Vase, for me the dream was always to get to the 1st round proper and be on TV. If someone had said at the start of the season that Dunston would be 90 minutes away from potentially playing Sunderland, I would’ve questioned their sanity.
I’m privileged to have experienced both.
