Intriguing tie at Heritage Park on Saturday. Hemsworrh sit top of the NECL Prem Division (equivalent to Northern League Div 1) but they have lost 3 games so far.
Bishops have needed a replay and extra time so far to get past Aycliffe and West Allotment respectively so who knows what expect!

Turnstiles and bar open from 1.30pm with a visit from the 'BA Town Team' mascot - the 'Bishop Boar'

I didn’t know that Ashton were from County Durham. Or in the Northern League.

So it wasn’t the pitches fault.

no we out because they scored more :) seriously though in this game you rely on your share of luck 50 50 chances etc. carnt gift teams goals like we did and get away with it but thats way it goes. Good look to hemsworth in future rounds.

Becoming a familiar story this season. On top for long spells of 1st half and didn't win the game there and then. Not clinical enough in final third.
Hemsworth were a useful side and nullified us well 2nd half and grabbed the winner. 2 Great chances in injury time for Bishops but somehow ball stayed out via bar, goalkeeper & defender.
Big game once again at home next Sat v Shildon to get back on track.
