I don’t think I’ve been this excited and nervous for a match since Staveley in The Vase.
Massive game for The Fed.
Howay Dunston!

Absolutely fantastic result! Dunston are obviously playing in the wrong league. It’d be wonderful if the club can reach the 1st round proper & promotion this season.

Superb! Well done all at UTS. This is not our year for cup glory - hope it's yours!

Well done Dunston! You really need to concentrate on the next round now and not worry about little Mickey Mouse cups like the FA Vase you might have in between

Dunston did well in this game and will continue to treat all opposing sides with respect and put 100% effort into continuing their unbeaten games this season.

I think you will find Neil’s comment was very much tongue in cheek as we are at Billingham Town next Saturday in the Vase.
That aside, by the way, you are right when you say we will treat all opposing sides with respect. Always have and always will.

What a game! A fully deserved victory. Everything off the pitch was prepared perfectly, credit goes to the committee and any accolades from this game is a reward for their efforts.
On the park we more than matched them, Our work rate was relentless and when we created chances, we took them.
One of the best games I’ve seen in a long time.

Great result Dunston.

I think a few people had a few quid on them at 3/1 before the match including myself, having saw Chester with spenny we drew 0-0 away on the 1st day of the season but then blyth beat them 8-1 up here 5/6 weeks ago but since then theyve been in decent form but they definately underestimated how difficult it would be playing at UTS.

I hope you get a home draw again and hopefully on the bbc. Theres a young squad there that would do well in the evo leagues thats for sure.

There are bigger teams about than Gateshead but in terms of selling tickets it's one of the best outcomes I'd imagine. Whitley don't have a game that day so I'll definitely be going along!

Hopefully BBC don't overlook them again.
