Great performance from Morpeth last night. South Shields had a weak team out but Morpeth weren't at full strength either.

The Petrache screamer is one of the best goals I've ever seen in the flesh & what a player Sayer is - 2 quality goals off the bench.

Credit to South Shields for keeping the floodlights on :D

No need to, but I’ll explain it to you in case you missed the other times it has been explained.

It is with the approval of the Admins that Ray posts all the north east non-League scores from Northern League upward here. It saves multiple posts across multiple forums.

Many people who are fans of Northern League clubs, or of the Northern League in general will pass an eye over the scores but do not feel the need to comment on the matches outside the Northern League.

So, it suits the vast majority of people to retain it this way. If you really must discuss ex-Northern League clubs please post in the appropriate forum.

It's good to have all the scores listed here as I'd expect most people still have an interest in how ex-NL clubs do. But we should read about it in this thread then respond to it by making a new thread on an entirely different forum? People go OTT with posting in the 'correct' place imo... NLZ is an almost dead forum, any activity should be encouraged.
