if no teams want promotion...durham and brandon should be ok....

Teams in both the Wearside & Northern Alliance will be applying for promotion. I believe teams in the Teesside are unlikely to apply this season, but you never know if things change. If Durham & Brandon are both in relegation positions at the end of the season i'd expect them both to be relegated.

What is the criteria for promotion from wearside, alliance and north riding. Do teams still have to finish top two or is it top five.

Top 5 .
There will be at least Newcastle Uni , Alnwick and i would think AFC Killingworth apply from Alliance i would imagine West End and Boldon from Wearside and maybe Wolviston?

Hebburn Town Reserves, If 1st are also promoted(2 division gap rule)
Wolviston are seriously looking at it
Sunderland West End will apply
Richmond Town will apply, because their new ground will be suitable
I guess Darlington RA & Boldon CA could apply. But their form needs to improve drastically
Newcastle Uni will apply
Killingworth said that they will be, but still need to do a lot of work on their ground
I'm sure I heard Ponteland want to apply
Alnwick will almost certainly apply, but need to improve their form
Not sure about Newcastle BS. But they've got a decent squad. I wonder if there's any people from the original club involved & want to at least get back into the NL?
