I would like to think of those 40, a few of them would be willing to give up their seats for an away fan who could not stand for the game! Or am I being soft?

How big is this fan that he requires a few seats??

Is this even allowed? What’s the point in having criteria when people can’t use it?

Knowing the lads at Redcar all of this will have been pre-checked, rules wise, be xery surprised if it hasnt...
I heard there were plans also to hire cushions out to those whom cant get in the stand :-)

True and a very plump cushion at that as well and there's no discount for a restricted view either. :(

I hope they’re not for chucking at the players.

Ridiculous really. Funding isn't guaranteed so what happens if you get promoted, then can't meet the ground grading deadline due to lack of funding?! Teams should be able to apply for funding to meet the next step up.

Totally agree, been a big problem for many clubs, especially for feeding in to NL.

Seems to take authorities so long to confirm your promotion place, which is vital to then be able to apply for funding.

I think I’m right in saying that step 6 teams need to have an F Grade, by the 31st March the season they’re promoted. So if Redcar were in a position to go up this season, then they’d have to pass the ground grading in 8 months time.
Yea that's right, but that doesn't allow much time to get 100% of funding in place, plus any planning permissions etc if not already gained.
Not strictly true as well as things like lights need to be in place before that

That’s a requirement for step 6. A team has to pass an H Grading by the 31st March, the season they are applying for promotion. They then have until the 30th September that year to have the floodlights erected & working. They then must achieve a G Grading by the following 31st March.
