Yeah possibly could of done with one hard hitter in the team.
But I thought Durham had a pretty decent season last year. Until the last month or so
they were in the top 8 most of the season.
They also had a decent cup run beating Team North and outplaying Shildon only to
lose on pens.
Yes inconsistency was a major factor but they also beat all the promoted teams.
I think the manager and the players would of all stopped if promises were kept.

Div 2 outsiders - Willington for me

Unless I'm very much mistaken they didn't beat Whickham, losing twice.

Based on transfer activity I'd expect Whitley to be in the relegation battle. Jack Walker & Chrissy Salmon the latest to leave. Gonna be a long season unless we get quite a few more players in.

If they gel quick & hit the ground running Hebburn will take some beating, but I think I'll back West Auckland to win it.

Hebburn should win Division One by the end of February.

Both Billingham sides, Heaton, Redcar, Thornaby and NTFC I expect to be challenging with a few others in the mix. Synners will be the team to beat IMO - young Pollock will have some decent contacts.

Blimey at least 2 people on here know more than I do about Redcar Athletic's prospects in the Northern League next season. Who are we signing to give you that confidence? I wish I was joking but I'm not. 18th place is my target currently.

All the best for the new season little fella. Enjoy it pal.

West Auckland with a squad like that it would be criminal if they didnt fair play to them.

Shildon shouldnt be too far away and if hebburn gel quick they could shock. Bishop Should improve on last season although in fairness thats not exactly difficult top 6 would be great time will tell. Bay have lost alot of squad and seaham where lucky season ended when it did as they were really struggling.

Add Aiden Haley to the list of leavers. He has joined Dunston

Worrying. I'm not familiar with our signings but struggling to put together an XI & bench off the top of my head now!
