What a great result for the FA in todays final. They got what they wanted with a southern team winning. If that was a penalty, they should award the ref a special award ! Big fiddle. Well done to Stockton.

Was a clear pen., tired challenge caught the attacker's leg.

Can't agree that a tackle in the 1st half is "a tired tackle" where the attacker threw his leg out in front of the defender should be called as a penalty but, that's non Thatchams' fault.

Poppycock. Swings and roundabouts.

Two ways of looking at this....if the forward had ran in a straight line then he would have been taken out and a clear pen....however, he clearly anticipates the challenge and moves his right leg towards the defender, buying the foul. Now for me, if I was a ref I would indicate what he had done and waved play on. Not a penalty.

Blatant penalty. Well done Stockton anyway for getting as far as you did.

That us how I saw the situation.

Swings and roundabouts. They got a questionable penalty in the semi.

Watch the forwards body language, his face and then his reaction when he went down. Totally orchestrated. Like I said, he would have got a penalty anyway but that doesn't stop the fact he bought the penalty.

Stockton looked tired almost from the off, the oppo appeared to have more energy.Looked a tired tackle to me.
