Seaham Red Star v Sunderland West End is this Tuesday (17th) with a 7.30pm kick off at Seaham Town Park. There is no game between these two clubs on Wednesday.

Yet another pre season fixture change, Pickering Town pulled out of the planned game next weekend so re-arranged fixture is.....

Why are so many friendliest being cancelled. Liversedge couldnt raise a team last sat against us . I see several cancelled this week also

Surprised by this comment from you Wack. It happens every preseason. The World Cup has added to it this year. However the main reason is that preseason friendlies are generally arranged in May and early June but no one checks obviously then if players are going to actually available to play in them. We are after all now in the busiest period of the holiday season and look at the weather out there. There will no doubt be more games that will be cancelled this weekend with teams not being able to field a side.

Agree with all of this, as well as the current weather and the impact it’s having on pitches and the knock on effects of player injuries etc
