5’ Good start from the home side. Whickham withstanding Colliers pressure so far. 0-0
6’ Whickham break well. Mole full of confidence from last week has a pop from distance but it’s smashed over the bar. Better from the Glebe. 0-0.
15’ GOAL FOR Easington The hosts draw first blood. Jack Pounder through the middle and finishes well past Mordey. Poor start from the Glebe. 1-0.
17’ GOAAAAAAAAAALL!! IT’S 1-1!! What a reply by the Glebe. Corner ball causes all sorts of problems at the back for the Colliers. Wharton pounces on the line to head the Glebe level.
22’ Wharton close to turning things around, he’s slipped through on goal but can only find the keepers arms. 1-1.
25’ Mordey called into action. Vicent’s drive from outside the area takes a deflection on its away through but John manages to deal with it well. 1-1.
31’ POST. The home side are inches away from taking the lead again. A fantastic header from Pounder beats Mordey but doesn’t beat the post. 1-1
37’ PENALTY FOR Easington
38’ Jack Pounder crashes the penalty well over the bar. Massive let off for the Glebe. 1-1
The hosts feel hard done by. The ball ended in the net after the referee whistled for the penalty.
44’ Easington have been peppering the Glebe goal for the past 10 minutes but are yet to find the net again. Fustration beginning to build on the touchline. 1-1
Tonight's attendance: 103

half time 1-1

48’ Positive second half so far by the Glebe. 1-1.
52’ WHAT A SAVE. Easington through on goal but Mordey comes out well to deny the hosts from taking the lead again. 1-1.
54’ Easington are forced into the first change of the game. Smith on for Vincent. 1-1.
58’ GOAAAAAAAAAALL!! IT’S 2-1!! Cooke unlucky not to give the hosts the lead but up the other end we go. The ball falls kindly for Broadhead inside the area and he lashes the ball into the back of the net. We’ve turned it around. 1-2.
65’ Pounder inches away from finding the net on the turn. Mordey glued to the ground, but thankfully for the Glebe it’s just wide of the post.
68’ Subs. James Norton and Ben Cains on for Leigh Shickle and Kallum Broadhead.
73' Easington are in down the left but Lancaster makes a fantastic last ditch tackle just inside the area and even wins us a goalkick. 2-1 up.
75’ Chance for a third. Norton feeds Mole with a great ball. Mole flicks between his right and left before striking straight into the keepers arms. 1-2
80’ Final change for the Glebe. Aiston is on for Wharton. 1-2 (sub not used Andrew Bulford)
83’ GOAL FOR Easington. It’s been coming and the hosts finally find the net again. Adamson fires home. It’s 2-2!
85’ Ball curls one from distance but Mordey stretches to tip it wide. 2-2
86’ GOAL FOR Easington. The hosts turn the game around, heading home from a corner. 3-2
A late O’Brien header gives the Colliers all three points. Fair to say that the better team won on the night.

full time
Easington 3 Whickham 2
