With the game I was taking in originally called off I headed to West Aukland v Shildon. What a good choice a hard fought local derby in decent conditions to play in.The match officials were superb. Credit to the three of them for letting the teams play football and seeing a competitive game being allowed flow as much as possible. But thoroughly enjoyed the game cracking people up there and a very enjoyable game. Good luck for the rest of the season.

At half time there was no sign of what was to come at Frenchfields earlier today.

Due to unavailability and injury to Bishops registered goalkeepers Ryan Grham was signed as emergency cover and he failed to hold a tame shot for PEnrith 1st goal. Bishops were actually the better side in 1st half and Ryder scored another goal to add to his growing collection. Penrith looked fairly limited!

Bishops lost their way when Penrith went 2-1 ahead and after that it was not pleasant viewing seeing the flat footed defence struggle when Penrith attacked and scored at will. Somehow need to recover for Marske at home on Sat.
