Is it the feeling that Darlington RA will also escape relegation, meaning that the folding Jarrow Roofing are placed nominally bottom, and Brandon second bottom?

No you've got yourself a little mixed up this morning. Jarrow Roofing were in the 1st division and would have been relegated to the 2nd division Alnwick finished bottom of the 2nd division with Darlington RA 2nd bottom. With 2 teams being promoted as it stands at present both Alnwick and Darlington RA can be considered as being relegated. But things change on almost a daily basis with this reorganisation of the leagues.

It was my understanding that as they are folding, that Roofing will be placed bottom of NL2, therefore offering a potential reprieve to a club in the NL2 relegation spots.

Sure Windy will be able to clarify.

They weren't in Division 2 so they can't be placed bottom of it. It's just 2 down from Division 1 instead of 3 with Jarrow Roofing folding.

It depends if the F.A. uses them as an in-league relegation & nominally place them bottom of both divisions!

But they won't do that. Bear in mind Jarrow Roofing actually can still withdraw their resignation. And if they do that it would then relegate Brandon to keep Div 2 at 20 clubs. But I doubt Richie will change his mind. It'll be 2 down from Div 2 and 2 up from the feeder leagues as it stands today.

Seen a spreadsheet that has actually placed Northallerton in the ncel that will reprieve the Second bottom team in the nl2,which was Darlington RA not Brandon.jarrow roofings demise looks like saving Brandon as i said earlier.on the spreadsheet it has Brandon as unaffected and Darlington Ra highlighted in purple as reprieved.windy when is the league's committee meeting to allocate clubs inlevels 5 to 7.thought it was this week?

Didn't the fa quote that all bottom placed clubs will not be reprieved regardless of lateral transfers, which means Alnwick look doomed.

Dave, have you been to North Korea for your hols, either that or you don't do your homework.bittomthree in nl2 starting at the bottom were Alnwick,Darlo Ra then us.if we are relegated then it will be deserved as we've had a torrid season.no word yet at my door which league we will be in next season.hosever, finishing third bottom gives us a better chance of being reprieved than the other two unless we've done something wrong.
