Assuming Morpeth don't lose their remaining 4 games, Benfield win their remaining 10, overcoming a 35 goal difference!

Have to agree, Congratulations to Morpeth on winning promotion, Only suprise was when your average gates is around 250 per game yet Morpeth only had 144 on a Promotion party night?, But still well done Morpeth.

On a different note, bedlington will probably be relegated no matter where they finish as they haven't achieved their charter standard.they along with another 3 unnamed clubs could have their membership of the league revoked.had to be done by the 31st march.the 3 unnamed have been given an extension why.other clubs have abided by the rules, think this is going to be a very interesting few weeks, with the promotion/non promotion issues and now this.can see loads of appeals now.local NL football in chaos.

Are you saying that they have failed the ground grading inspection & failed to achieve the G Grading?

apparently all NL clubs have to achieve charter standard every year by the 31st march, which they haven't done.leahue rules state they won't be members beyond this season.font know who the other3 clubs are.

The league should not name 1 and not the other 3. Typical bias

I agree Terry all the clubs should be named, but it doesn't get away from the fact that bedlington have broke the rules and should be punished fairly.other clubs that could lose their NL status because of onfield performances will be looking at this very carefully.the rule states, any club not doing their annual health check by 31st march shall be deemed no longer members of the league beyond the current season.dont know the reason or reasons why the other 3 haven't been named but they should be the same.appeals a many if this isnt done by the book.

I'm sorry but is there anyone on here that actually believes that clubs will be thrown out for missing a Charter Standard deadline. I would be totally shocked if that happened. Ther are clubs in all leagues who sometimes do it late. Never heard of one thrown out for it yet :o :o

Probably be relegated? No. If they do not have a Charter Standard then there's surely no F.A. registered League they can play in. All clubs in the Wearside League have achieved their Charter Standard as this was announced at the last League Management Committee. I cannot see any of the clubs concerned being able to play in the Wearside League next season, if they have not achieved a Charter Standard. Not so much relegation to worry about, more so the actual future existence of the clubs involved, as they may have nowhere to go to play football next season if they fail to achieve Charter Standard.

FA are under pressure from the Government relating to their Governance of the game and Charter Standard is a big part of this. The FA will therefore take Leagues and County FAs to task if they are lax on Charter Standard. So in effect I can now see teams being ejected from Leagues from here on in if they have not achieved Charter Standard.
