just to remind people who are going to watch the spennymoor v billingham game tomorrow night, it has been switched to billingham, obviously spennymoor not taking this competition to serious this season. having said that, 6 first team squad players in the 16 man squad

Not sure the Brewery Field complies with competition ground standards with that slope!

Hows things going at bishop, still waiting for the cherry picker, you will need a rocket to transport you to the level spennymoor play.

Spennymoor have got a fantastic playing surface, and don't want to play games that are not top of priority competition list, now playing national league north, it makes sense to keep pitch in pristine condition as possible. This is not official and just my theory, they also play all pre-season friendlies away.
I think it would be good to get a run in the durham cup, the National League do not do Cup Competitions.

Well, I think that's wrong.
They're not exactly Newcastle United or Sunderland are they.

It was a agreement between both clubs that the game is to be played at Billingham Town

so will billingham get to keep all gate receipts?? as im sure there would have been a bigger crowd at spennymoor so would have earned more off the gate. Not top priority to play on it give over

Surely fans would prefer a home game rather than deciding to make them all drive half an hour (Google Maps estimate) on a Tuesday night? Odd one.

Nobody makes anybody do anything at Spennymoor. The decision to change the fixture was explained to fans at the recent supporters club meeting and accepted by those present.

Hopefully Billy Town make a good few quid off the Food and Bar sales and they get a good gate aswell. I'm sure when the draw was made they'd have preferred to have been at Home so whatever reason, and it makes sense to me Spennymoor wanting to look after their Pitch, hopefully Billy Town earn out of it.
