Not really Saturday's game vs York really wasnt the league mis match as the tables suggest, Shields would be bottom half of conf north with current squad, means you can make a few quid betting as the bookies dont look at it that way

Don't think it will be as comfortable for Shields as it was when they steamrollered Darlington a few rounds ago. No disrespect to Darlington but Pools will feel like a proper game for them.

Only reason it'd be considered bigger, than Darlo or York will purely be down to it being the 3rd qualifying round.

4th qualifying round, but that's not what I meant. I meant in terms of Pools being a really big club in terms of non league circles.

Hartlepool aren't a huge club compared to a Sunday Morning team, let alone anyone else - Actual Fact.

Anyway to get this back on track, South Shields will beat Hartlepool United in my opinion.

Shildon also have a great chance of reaching the first round proper again.

What an interesting statement. I wonder where the information for this quote as an actual fact came from. It is a fact that the biggest non league club in this area at the moment is Hartlepool. An average gate of nearly 4,000 tell us that story with Darlo at 1500 along with Shields, Spenny at 900 and Gateshead at 800. Almost treble the support Darlington get makes them in my eyes the biggest non league club in the NE. I can call that an actual fact - I think 8)

Again no disrespect to Darlington but Hartlepool Utd in most people's eyes are and have always been a much bigger club.
