Embarrassing that's the word spoken by a number of bishop Auckland directors yesterday ! Expected was the word supporters used. Any hope amongst the crowd very little., but still a crowd over 200 and again come Tuesday night at jarrow we will have a good following. If mr Myers does not bring in at least six to seven new players in the next month and they need to better quality than the few he has signed lately the board will have another big decision to make and have to again admit that they have got it wrong.only way out of this spend money ! players in the northern league are mercenaries they will drop a division for more money. We need at least 40 plus points to avoid going down working off the last few seasons, having 6 points in the bag the other 34 points at the moment donot look achievable .Yesterdays performance was probably the worst of the season and was has much down to team selection and team set up it was terrible.

I would suppose the new fella is in a difficult situation, 7 days ruling once every 28 days to one individual club, he is going to have a pretty small catchment area unless as you mention they suddenly start banging out major money. Whats gone on seems a bit underhand to me, letting the likes of Steve Riley and Frenchy go was madness IMO..

Bishop Auckland were poor yesterday, I expected them to be better. Excellent set up though. But another 3 points for Team North who might well stay up this season.

We were told with stark honesty that it may take a number of weeks yet before performances and results like yesterday improve when things start to settle down. We were told to expect good performances and results like Waste Auckland the other week followed by ones like the previous 2 games, no surprises. We are where we are unfortunately. Hopefully Jarrow Roofing on Tues night is the former.

Facts
League form since 12th September

Played 10
Won 2
Lost 8
Goals Scored 15
Goals Conceded 40

The record so far doesn't make good reading. How much longer can the excuses carry on for?

What excuses? Where are the excuses? Current manager knows we have big problems as a team. Knows it is no quick fix. Wish it was but clearly it isn't.

5 weeks and 10 games since the 12th August. No improvement to date.

2. When things start to settle down
How long does it take for things to settle down?

It's not for the want of trying and those who attended the recently arranged Q&A with Colin will know that.

I'm a Gateshead fan so have no preference for any Northern League team over the others, but I saw Bishops at Bedlington today. It was a terrible match but Bishops had plenty of chances to bury the match first half. They then came out for the 2nd half a full 5 minutes before Terriers, suggesting they would be fired up and had perhaps received a half-time rocket, but were dismal. The one piece of class in the game was Terriers first goal, a beauty, the second came from a mistake by a lad who had just come on. It's just an impression, but they looked like they expected to win by turning up.

Fair reflection Heed boy but after our season so far I'm pretty sure there would have been no over confidence!!

I agree 1st half we were on top and but for some poor finishing could have been 2 or 3 up.

2nd half it turned into a bit if a scrap and Terriers were better at scrapping than us. Their 1st goal was a relay well worked goal and sadly after that you could see Bishops weren't going to get back into it.

Fully expect us to now go and beat Aycliffe on Weds night, but then who knows what will follow against Washington.

Already a season of damaged limitation and we need to make sure we aren't dragged into a relegation scrap.

Couldn’t make the game yesterday and it seems that was a blessing. I got the lowdown from my brother and it didn’t make pretty reading. Hearing there’s an uprising being planned with some very powerful individuals on the horizon. Watch this space!
