Regarding Adam Shanks go, he wanted to leave.

That's what I heard but then Shanks turned up to the rest of Whitley's games to support the lads, odd one. Apologies for taking the thread off-topic but do you know where Tom Gilbey's ended up?

Tom Gilbey has gone back to live in London. He was only here for Uni

Cheers for clearing that up. Squad's looked a bit thin at fullback during pre-season with him and Macca gone but the signings of Nearney and Reay should hopefully be enough. Optimistic for the season ahead under Nashy :D

Some quality predictions! One or two stand out, like Bishop winning the league and RCA being relegated.....

I did well there & I placed an e/w bet on Brandon
To my credit, I think I’m the only one that has Marske in the frame though

It depends what the F.A. decides to do with Northallerton & Penrith.
But probably 3 clubs.

What about the third place ed team in div one taking promotion? And clubs not having their own ground eg Blyth and durham.dont think they have any arrangements in place to groundshare. also you have been saying Penrith and Northallerton could be laterally moved.

also what the F A decided about blyth/ I always thought you could not groundshare to gain promotion.

You can’t groundshare at a better ground(higher ground grading level) & use that to gain promotion. But you can use(groundshare mid-season) an equal standard ground to the ground that you’ve started the season with & still be promoted
