Windy is Darlo RA to NRL pending an appeal around relegation? Or did they not appeal and only alnwick and Uni did in relation to step 6?? Also do we know exact basis of each appeal and when a decision will be made?

Darlo RA have told me that they haven’t been placed in the NRL ‘yet’! The stuff written on Mike Amos’s blog was just a moan in case they were placed in that league. They haven’t appealed the relegation, which makes me wonder how quickly the F.A. will throw Alnwick’s appeal out? Do they seriously think they’ll be reprieved when the team that finished above will not be?

Northallerton have appealed against Blyth promotion & would kindly like the F.A. to consider them instead!

And presumably the Uni have appealed the rejecting of their application?

Yeah the Alnwick one I can’t get my head around, wonder if it’s just a case of ‘nothing ventured’

Has anyone got any information about financial issues surrounding Blyth? My understanding is that Blyth Town & the F.A. are owed £120k. Which the Muckle solicitors are representing Blyth Town & they are awaiting a court date. There’s supposed to be £36k that was allegedly transferred by the clubs owner to a company that had gone bust the previous month. How much is known about this by anyone on this forum?

And kindly be careful about what you post.

Representatives of both parties watch NLZ and as the matter is the subject of legal proceedings keep your comments very general.

We’d hate action against NLZ for an injudicious post. Don’t complain if a post get’s deleted ... freedom of speech is a limited right, not an absolute one. Or libel lawyers wouldn’t make such a good living.

Some of the money are court costs(£13k)already handed out against Barry Elliott. So this is public knowledge already. The rest is being chased by Blyth Town & the F.A. Both Blyth Town & the Muckle solicitors are awaiting a court date to recover the debts.

Hey, if it’s in the public domain then fine, it won’t influence any future court proceedings.

My warning was not against you, but others who might come on here with inflammatory, libellous or even stupid speculation.

Windy, I have no idea who you are but would love to know where you got that from
I can tell you now you are 100% WRONG on this one and that is a FACT.......
Northallerton Town have not, and never even considered an appeal to The FA.

Hednesford have been moved sideways to take Shaw Lanes place but have appealed the decision.

There’s been loads of appeals already been heard & more of the next week or so. Some appeals couldn’t be set, until the F.A. allocated the relegated clubs new leagues. Now the step 7 allocations have been released, those appeals can now be set.
