I haven't been to west's ground before but is it situated in a residential area? Because if it is I'm sure the residents won't be too happy with a thousand darlo fans hanging around on the street shouting and cheering?

I reckon there will be a few doing that, but nowhere near 1000.

Mind you, it'd be hilarious if it happened. Everyone waving £5 notes in the air.

Look what you could have had!

Well even I couple of hundred is going to cause concern for local residents.

I'm sure it would, but I can't even see that many. I could be wrong though.

Ok, yes. And? Extraordinary circumstances.

Are you sure about that one?

You play at the same ground as Bishop who charge a fiver to use the same facilities so how is that fair for away fans.

Yep, I feel sorry for all 10 of them who pay a set price.

Are we talking about a Darlington based paper who sponsor the club here?

When we played a vase semi final the price was changed so let's stop moaning.

And we're talking about a one off LEAGUE game, where West Auckland have made a 100% rise in ticket prices. Go figure.

A north east paper that as a lot of readership outside of Darlington. You are no longer the big north east club.

I do think the Northern Echo's sponsorship of Darlington should be irrelevant as should be its hometown. It represents the North East from the borders to North Yorkshire.

However, Darlington will have more fans who read the paper than most so on audience share it does make some sense that it should get more coverage than other Northern League clubs.

What you are forgetting is that West will have plenty of support there as well. I just want to see us beat you and give you some reason to whinge. 30 pages for this thread of constant complaining.

To be fair when we were a League club boro, sunlun n the mags all got bigger coverage than us because their fan base was much bigger than ours.

A lot of the pages filled with support from supporters of other clubs angry at west's actions n the negative impact they have brought on the NL

Just a point on the echos coverage of darlo. Does everyone think that rangers deserve the same amount of coverage as Elgin or east Stirling? Maybe it's not in the same proportions but you get my point?

FAO West End,

Regarding your point about The Northern Echo, supply by demand.

So your away support will be decent, and?

Just like the Northern Echo's coverage / the West v Darlo 1883 tickets prices are also based upon supply & demand but yet you don't accept it.

I don't think there is anything wrong at all with them getting the most amount of coverage, makes perfect sense to me.

And neither do a large proportion of darlo fans, so that cancels the demand.
