By Simon, that told me, I'll never recover from that

You're looking for digs that aren't there. Lighten up a bit mate!

Well we can rule out Spendit Nation challenging at the top then - Brittain quit before signing, Hamshaw left after 5 minutes, and their 3 remaining "star" players (Lee, Arnison, Smith) are all old under achieving Darlo players who are past their best.

Do you ever take a day off from being a clown.....this used to be a decent forum but its becoming very tedious and I'm beginning to think Darlo are the only non league team in the N East.
You constantly post opinions about teams that you don't have a clue on and to have a go on how other teams are ran.....after the fantastic way your club has been run in the past your opinions are laughable.
I do hope you get promoted this season so we don't have to listen to your endless pointless posts.
Oh and for the record Brittain wasn't offered anything as he was very poor in 2 pre season games, Hamshaw played 2 games and didn't look as he was that bothered so he was released. Lee is 2-3 weeks away from recovering from a knee injury but has been great behind the scenes, Arnison has been injured but has mixed in well with the lads and Smith has been one of our better players in the last couple of games.
As for Boydy he looked great pre season but has struggled with knee injuries and i'm pretty sure he wasn't as fit as he'd hoped he'd be. I'm sure all the lads in the squad wish him all the best but sometimes things don't work out as planned.
This is the highest level alot of our squad have played at and it has been a massive learning curve for everyone behind the scenes too and yes we're lucky that there is someone that is prepared to put some money in but don't knock a club that has ambition........ however they try to achieve it.

Look mate you claim I don't know what I'm talking about, and then you're sitting there telling me about one player who wasn't very good, one player who wasn't bothered, one player still not fit, one player injured and another player struggling with knee injuries!

Like I said, past it.

Like I said......clown!!!

Touchy touchy, lighten up crookfan, the irony in your post is you fail to see that others are just 'having their say', it is a forum you know

Made up plastic club aren't they? Trying to be big and clever signing ridiculous players. Dropped their original name and rebranded (not a forced change) in order to attract a breed of fans that I'm not sure even exist...shall I go on, or is that enough?

Why should the fact they are trying to attract more fans be mocked?

If they want to sign players for ridiculous money and pay them whatever that's their business isn't it?

I mean hasnt your team signed some players for money well above average NL money?

Not if it's going to affect the integrity of the league in which my team is playing, it isn't.

How on earth will it effect the integrity of the league?

And since when has a bishop Auckland fan given a manure about the northern league, you all hate it anyway.

As in teams paying for players above their means and maybe getting promoted and going bust somewhere along the line !!

And since when has a bishop Auckland fan given a manure about the northern league, you all hate it anyway.

We don't hate the league , love all the local derbies but we are in a pyramid system and if teams are refusing to participate in the pyramid ; ie take promotion they should be playing in the crook and district league or whichever is closer to them geographically or/and be omitted from fa competitions ; ie fa vase , fa cup

It hasn't quoted correctly but WTF !!!

1. When the money runs out halfway during the season and the team has to release their better players and play kids just to see out the season.

2. Point taken. Guess I'll revoke my initial observation then!

If true that's not a move to be sniffed at mind.
