Newton Aycliffe produced a five-star away performance at Bishop Auckland on Wednesday night – but were undone by a late Darlo goal.

I'd give both teams 2 stars and Darlo had more chances than Aycliffe but there's nothing like a bit of spin on your reports and tweets is there?

Quite a few things you haven't reported...

BTW, it was definitely a penalty.

The Echo is a Darlington paper...

Newton Aycliffe get a big write up in the Newton News and you don't see us moaning about it.

No. We are div 1, they are div 2.

RA crowds are about 50, so are some Sunday morning clubs - therefore why shouldn't the Sunday clubs with as much readership get the same coverage?

It's about the audience, not your idea of what is fair.

Deary me, you really have a bee in your bonnet about this don't you? Why can't you accept that because it's a Darlington paper (and Darlington sponsor) it was always likely to report more column inches on us?

Get over it man, there are bigger things to worry about.
