From what I heard the source was very reliable and no reason to question it when I heard the name. However I would add that this is just what I was told and not something I know myself, so whether you believe it is true is up to each person as anyone can write any fertilizer on a MB.

If you really want to know about Spennymoors supposed £6k a week budget and the clubs lack of ambition the Chairman is at the Ask The Chairman talk in at Bishop on Thursday night.

He has asked me to personally invite all of the anonymous keyboard terrorists along to ask him face to face - then you have no excuses for rumour and hearsay. Why dont you also wear a name badge with your log in clearly in view - I bet non of you have the bollox to do it. Its an open forum so do your best and good luck if you want to talk figures.

If you cant be arsed with that and would rather let a good story get in the way of the facts you can always access the clubs accounts at companies house - they are in the public domain.

I am sure they wont do that, but i am also sure that the chairman wouldnt release the figures as well.

Why not? As has been said, the figures are available for viewing at any time from Companies house. If people are that bothered about our budget, get off your arses and do some research.

I'll dare wager Micro's source is better than yours Darlofan97, after all he is a Director of the club.

Good call for that Micro. If none of the warriors on here ask the question I am aware of a couple who will ask the question. Myself included

Budget is irrelevant anyway because the talking will start on the pitch in earnest come the 18th of August.

The information is not available at companies house. That information tells you general financial figures, not player wages.

They reason they won't tell you is because it's private information, no different from why the majority don't know colleagues wages at work.

I am sure a lot of people know, especially those who physically pay it out. That doesn't mean that they would publicly disclose it.

Good for you.

Luckily for me mind, those who know who my source is, know how accurate it is. So, unlucky.

Jesus wept, why does this get brought up all the time? Who cares what their budget is, if they can afford it then thats for them to do whatever they want with it. Even *IF* it was the rumoured 6k a week then it makes no difference, they've still gotta get those 11 players on the field to score more goals than the opposition, something that has been shown many times in the past money cant make happen.

It's not rumoured.

You've just basically complained that it gets brought up all the time yet you bring this thread back to life and ramble on a little bit more.

Nice one!

I only said that their budget was £6k a week because somebody said Spennymoor have a better squad than Darlo and that was the reason why their squad was better.

Why are so many people worried about people being interested in it.

Some are, some aren't, that's life, we aren't all interested in the same thing.

Yes clearly I brought it back from the dead, i mean come on, it had dropped off the front page... wait no. It seems the Darlo lot are more obsessed by the budget at spenny than Bishops!
