SB Yank - I'm not sure who you are mate but I'm sure you'd be happy enough to let us know. Your comments about the fans you stand with certainly don't correlate with the ones I stand with. Yes it's not been fantastic all season. Yes the team selection has been subject to question in certain games where I stand. I've commented myself.

Do you come down most weeks? And do you travel to many away games? It's just that I do - and I wouldn't be getting stuck in like you have because I know the limitations on the club. Would I accept Division 2? Yes I would. As long as the players and management are battering their guts out then I'll keep buying my season ticket and sponsoring the club. This isn't La Liga mate.... it's my local club and when they do well then it's great. If they stay up then great. If next year we go down then tough manure...I'll look forward to promotion the year after. You, my Marske supporting mate, need to start getting realistic.

Can't say I've heard anything along those lines either and I've been to about a dozen home games this season, the general impression I get (from earwigging conversations round about me as I don't really know anyone as yet) is that it's first season up so stay up and anything else is a bonus. And that's how it should be for any newly-promoted team.

I've seen some excellent wins but also a few tonkings into the bargain, the only discontent I've heard was the Norton game where the ref had an absolute nightmare...

Rolo, let's keep the forum open to opinions/criticisms as we all seek the best for the club without lowering ourselves to crudeness.
Many of the supporters that surround me in the crowd are unhappy with many of the team choices, complete lack of any sort of plan, width or use of wide players, and poor or lack of commitment on many occasions. I've even said it heard that the players don't respect the manager on more that one occasion. And perhaps that goes for many of the fans?
Let's not pat ourselves on the back for mediocre performances. Guisboro and South Shields out performed us with superior passing and retention of the ball. Surely we all want to improve on these performances.
If we accept that the budget is the issue the we should accept 2nd Division football in 2013/14. Do we?

I don't give sensible replies to faceless sh*t stirrers who hide behind stupid pseudonyms.
