Final score 4-1 to Ashington and absolutely no complaints with the result. I actually thought we played well in patches but were just unable to cope with the movement and intelligence of Marc Walton who was outstanding all game. On the plus side, it was great to see Gilly back in the side, albeit on the right hand side of midfield and DO had his best game so far, scoring an outstanding equaliser and he never stopped battling throughout. I also thought both Anth and Burto had decent games in midfield. Hopefully, by next Saturday, Curtis should be fit and Keo should be back from holiday to give us another couple of options.
