There is a Facebook campaign running through Flora which is offering £30000 to upgrade a park in your area.

Chase Park in Whickham has pulled the community together and everyone is voting through Facebook to try and get the funds to improve a pretty empty park these days.

Whickham FC don't stand to benefit at all but I spent half my youth in the park and the people of the area feel the park needs upgrading, if anyone is on Facebook and can vote for Chase Park (the only north east park) then the support would be appreciated.
