...signed for Hebburn Town last night after playing, and scoring, in a friendly for them.

Good luck to him - he joins a number of players who have left for Division One teams in the last few weeks, like Kieren Wrightson, Lawrence McKenna and Adam Wilkinson (Bedlington), and Steven Aiston (Consett).

Everyone at Whickham FC wishes scotty the best of luck at Hebburn, great lad and he'll be a miss on and off the pitch.

We wish all the others the same as we've no issue with any of the lads and we hope they all have a good season, if not they know where we are and we'd welcome them all back.

spot on les,but all is not lost,robin and kris have pulled the club back together after last seasons debacle,a great atmosphere seems to be running through the place,and dare i say it i've seen some cracking young uns over the last few weeks,could'nt believe some of the crack av heard,but nowt surprises me.good luck for the coming season.
