Ashington Colliers 2 WFC 1

Thanks to the Colliers guys for their hospitality and to be fair I thought our depleted squad did a decent job. We were out on our feet after 3 games in 4 days and we were indebted to 3 lads from Red Row who had turned up thinking they were playing the Colliers, I'm pleased they did, cheers lads.

Good luck to The Colliers and good to see Hutchy again, good lad and they looked a decent enough side with him pulling the strings.

Wednesday we play Reyrolles, if we've got 11 fit players by then!

Massive thanks to Whickham for last nights friendly, dissappointed in our performance but would like to wish Whickham FC all the best for the forth coming season. Good luck to Robin, Homer and Cav.
Tails

Cheers Tails, good luck to you guys at Redheugh and we hope you guys have a great season, some really good guys involved at GR who are always welcome at WFC, we may be looking for a couple of early season friendlies so if needed ill give you a shout.

We've had a difficult pre season to be honest with injuries, playing on 3G, waiting on a few players to make decisions but we've faith in the management team and I personally think we've a tough start, but we won't be lacking effort or commitment with some good kids coming through aswell (no not you Holmer  )

I still think we'll be seeing a few more new faces coming in before we go to Thornaby in a fortnight.
