Delighted how last night went to be honest and a big thanks to Kevin Ball for bringing his kids to play us, he was also delighted we'd given them a game and wanted me to pass in his thanks to our groundsman for the excellent surface, our team for being 'in their face' without one bad tackle all night and to the Glebe for the hospitality we showed them, he's good crack and I thanked him and in particular there club doctor who was a godsend when Wilky had a bad concussion at half time on behalf of Whickham Fc. I believe Wilky went to hospital but he tweeted he was fine last night, so hopefully other than a bad head he's fine this morning as I've not heard from him.

Also like to thank Blaydon U15 and our own U14s for the penalty shoot out at half time, wish I'd had time to watch it!

Finally well done to our lads for being there and giving it a proper go which is sometimes difficult in a friendly, and we were chuffed to see 3 17 year olds, 2 making a debut for us playing for us aswell and another debutant coming on aswell who's only 19 himself, so overall a good exercise and we got to look at 3 or 4 new players which is always the point of a friendly.
