John Harrison has signed from Easington Colliery. John is a striker who started the first 13 games of Easington's season scoring 6 times. A big welcome from all at WFC.

We'd like to welcome centre half Paul Hitchinson to the club aswell after his transfer from Hebburn, welcome Paul and he looked a good addition last night.

Paul Hutchinson even

John Harrison has actually scored in the first two minutes of the two games he's played for us, pretty good start and Paul Hutchinson looked a good player aswell last night, so two very good additions to our squad both bringing experience to a squad that was lacking a bit of confidence.

Also good to see Steven Aiston back on the field, scoring with his first touch aswell last night after coming on for the last 25 minutes. Last nights squad was our most experienced and strongest by far this season, and hopefully we'll get stronger as we go into the last 3rd of the season starting next Tuesday.

We're delighted to announce the signing of Jonathon 'John Jon' Wright, he started the season at Benfield but moved to Heaton Stannington before transferring to us, another quality young player whos strengths are a great left foot and pace, oddly enough two things I was never credited with

Welcome to the club John Jon
