why could the game not been played last sat when both teams did not have a game

It wasn't quite as straight forward as just changing it, even though both sides agreed to it initially. The FA told me the DCC committee had to make the call and they werent meeting until last wednesday(3 days before the proposed game), and even though a decision was made on the Tuesday afternoon somehow, by the time we were told it was ok, I had no time to organise the game.

Good idea, but difficult to implement.
