any particular reason for playing this game on thursday?

Esh asked if we'd bring it forward as theyve a function on at their club on friday night and they wanted to get the players to attend. Also thought we might get the groundhoppers and a few more in on the thursday, so a bit of an experiment to be honest aswell.

And much appreciated from all at Esh it is!

The function is at the Ramside with guest speaker Barry Fry sure to be a great evening and tickets are still available should anyone wish to enjoy a night of fine food, fine wine and the refined Barry Fry!

PS only one of those is stretching the truth!

Was on the pitch at 5:00pm, no surface water, with no rain expected before 7:30 tomorrow can't see a problem with our match against Esh. The boss will give it the once over in the morning.
