Jarrow travelled to Tow Law having not played since the February defeat at Billingham town , skipper Peter Kane was injured and regular midfielder Kris Allen was on the bench with a slight injury and new signing Scott Drew . Dean Martin returned in midfield after an shoulder injury had kept him out since October , and winger Kai Elliott and young defender Sam Attewell both also started . Jarrow did well up the slope however after 6 minutes Mark English was tested with an shot from the edge of the area and from an corner Scott Oldfield headed wide with the home side putting on pressure. Jarrow steadied and Steve Graham was winning possession in midfield with Dean Martin and Darren Morton holding the ball and getting free kicks which eventually lead to a Tow law defender being booked later in the game . Kai Elliott then hit the bar and there was an scramble in the Jarrow area with an shot going over the bar . The visitors started to put there game together and Kai Elliott hit the post after 35 mins and Aaron Kah was through on goal after an good pass from Darren Morton . On the half time whistle Tow law had an penalty appeal turned down and Michael Watson was replaced at full back by George Simpson for Jarrow . A busy first half for both defences keeper Mark English kicking well and handling the ball confidently

The second period Jarrow had the slope and used the conditions well putting the home side under more pressure Alex Bone shot over after 47 mins from an good position .
Tow law then got an series of corners and Scott Oldfield missed the target at the far post for the home side . Dean Martin was booked for dissent and Jarrow made another sub with the hard working Morton off for new signing Scott Drew up front . This was followed by Aaron Kah who had worked hard being replaced by youngster Luke Collins on the right wing. Simpson was causing the home side problems by overlapping on the right wing and after 89 mins an good run and pass by Simpson on the right of the area saw the other sub Luke Collins lash an ball from the edge of the area past the stranded Tow law town keeper Orton for the first goal
Time quickly ran out for the home side and Jarrow got the points in an game that looked like an 0 0 draw . Jarrow defended well and tried to keep the ball and work through forwards Morton and Martin . Kai Elliott was an constant threat to the home side and all the defenders and keeper stayed strong .
