On Saturday we travel to play Brandon away.

We have Stevie Graham and Kris Allen unavailable. Kai Elliott is injured along with Dean Martin and Sam Attewell. There is a doubt over Ross Wilson but we are hopeful he is available. Mick Watson and Josh Allan return to the squad following injury.

Our rhythm of games has been disrupted by the weather of late and we are hoping we can pick up where we left off against Easington two weeks ago. We beat Brandon earlier in the season 1-0 in a game where we were fortunate to pick up three points, having been down to 10 men for more than 80 minutes. Although Brandon sit lower down in the league we know we will have to work really hard and play well to get something out of the game as all teams have the capability of beating each other. We always prepare well for games and we have done so this week for this game. We are aiming to try and put a run together, which we are capable of doing, but know each game brings its own challenges, and we equally know we will have to be at our best to come away with anything from this game.

Dave Bell Joint manager JFC

The game started slowly with both sides hardly troubling the keepers
After 33 mins Jarrow full back George Simpson made an mazy run into the area and appeared to be pushed but the referee waved play on . On 39 mins Grant pressling was played through by Mick Watson but dragged his shot wide of the advancing keeper in the best chance of the half . Ian Ahmed in the Jarrow goal hardly had an save to make
In an goal less first half both sides having limited chances
