On Saturday we play West Allotment Celtic away.

We have Max Kirkham still suspended this is his last game of three. Jak Quantrill and Josh Allan are still injured and won't feature. We are awaiting news on Kai Elliott's availability. We have new signings Mick Watson and Alan Pegram join the squad. We are delighted to have both Mick and Alan join us they both have good Northern League experience with Mick having played for Hebburn and Tow Law and Alan, Hebburn and Seaham Red Star. Both signings strengthen our squad they are both very good players. We are almost sure we will also sign one more player before Saturday.

Earlier in the season we beat West Allotment at home 3-0 when all of our players played well. But we know that counts for nothing for Saturday's game. West Allotment are level on points with us in the last 6 game form table. We have had a long lay off our last game being 25 November and whilst this has given us a chance to work on improving aspects of our game it is not the same as match fitness. We are hoping our work rate continues where it left off against Blyth some 4 weeks ago now. Our new signings have given us a welcome boost and as a positive the absence of games have allowed our new signings to train and get to know the squad. Every game is difficult and we expect this to be no different although we will need to adapt quickly to the 3g surface. It is important for us we try to keep a gap between ourselves and those teams below us so we fully recognise the importance of this fixture but we know it will be a really difficult game.

Regards

Dave BELL JOINT MANAGER JFC
