Jarrow travelled to Willington hoping to maintain the form from the midweek win at Silksworth , Dean Martin replaced youngster Matthew Mcfarlane and Peter Kane by Alex Bone . After 3 minutes an throw by Featherstone on the right was flicked on by Steve Graham and Kai Elliott had an good header saved by Lewis Graham in the home goal . Little was seen of the Willington attack apart from long range shots off target. After 14 minutes both Kris Allen and Dean Martin had shots saved and Steve Graham had an header saved from an good cross by Allen. Martin injured his shoulder after 28 minutes and was replaced by Josh Allen .Jarrow were dominating possession with the home side limited to occasional attacks from the dangerous Conor Winter and Damon Ellis . It was Winter who opened the scoring on 30 minutes when an run down the right ended with an goal mouth scramble and Winter forced the ball home from close range 1-0
After 32 minutes Liam Clark making his league debut had an shot on the turn saved by Graham and Nick Little and Kai Elliot both had efforts in a series of Jarrow attacks .

Towards the end Aiden Goodey had an good chance for Willington and sub Lewis had an goal ruled offside .On 92 minutes an fierce shot by Steve Graham brought an wonderful save from home keeper Lewis Graham .A game where the visitors had a lot of possession but lacked the killer instinct in front of goal with 24 shots 4 on target
