I think I'll risk being the first to offer my congratulations - even though it's only 40 minutes into the first half at Whitby.

6-0 up should do it!

Oh hang on, thought it was 6-0 to Darlington, but seen it's now 7-0. Yeah, it's definitely over now. Congratulations Darlington, can't argue with that.

Well done darlo, you did it in style.

Also a great season for Blyth and any other season would have been clear champions. Go on lads, win the play offs and make it a north east double from the NPL Prem.

Congratulations Darlo from us all at Ashton. And yes fair play to Frickley it's been some season by your previous standards, that's for sure!

Disgrace they should have a 12 point deduction!!! :) :) :) haha.

No seriously over 100 pts steam rollered past Blyth this past month or so worthy champions, got some decent lads on here fair play to them

Bet there pleased they won't have to return to Frickley for another footballing lesson next year tho!!!

Just the one play off place to decide now after we turned over another top 5 side , as long as someone beats Salford all will be happy

Bleeding predictive txt!!!!! Or is it a subliminal message for the future,

who would have thought when he left we would cope so well without him, he is currently on holiday missed Shaw lanes game other nite, last month he left game at half time to go to his mates wedding, don't think Karl would have that from a contracted player

Cheers guys I'm still in shock at what I witnessed last night. Whitby might not have been 100% after their big night on Tuesday, but we would have thrashed most teams the way we started last night. Unreal, and sums this squad of players up.

These 3 seasons in the evostik have been an absolute pleasure.

I have nothing against any of the other clubs in the playoffs, but best of luck to Blyth. We wouldn't have been as good without them pushing us all the way. They've had an incredible season, and I really hope they get promoted via the playoffs as reward for what they've done this season.

What a season and well above most if not all Darlo fans expectations, I wanted to be about top 8 and hoped to get into the playoffs. I felt if we finished 5th it would be a free shot at the playoffs and if didn't win no worries.

Still can't believe how the season went in the end, personally I will miss the Evostik, it's ran really well and the NPL Podcast/Show has kept me going at work on a Friday afternoon.

It seems all Darlo fans want Blyth to make it through in the playoffs for a couple of reasons, they deserve something after the season they have had and also it's a good local derby that attracts decent crowds.
