I hear Darlo have signed Adrian Webster. I remember him playing for us in L2 and if he is the same player now as he was then, he should be too good for the Northern League.

Anyhow, I hear he's had a couple of brief spells at Blyth, how did he do for you?

Great first time round, very classy player. Stand out performance was when he ran the show in a 2-0 win against BSN Champions elect Kettering grabbing both goals.

Second time round, inevitably not as good but still okay.

I know he suffered a very bad injury whilst back in Australia, one that almost ended his career. He had been training with us last season so not sure if we felt he wasn't up to it or if he decided we weren't up to it.

Yeah I thought he might be decent for you (were you BSN or Evo Prem?), because he wasn't bad at L2 level.

He should be good in the NL then.

Always good to boast an international in the ranks!

Adie's a good player, hope he gets back to full fitness, I hadn't realised he is still only 31, thought he was older than that.

Didn't play much but when he did he was quite a tricky player. One of those who could do with settling at a club and getting plenty of games.

That's good to hear. Liam is currently on trial with Darlo, he turned the game on its head against Crook on Friday.
