Micheal Clarke is alright, he had a good start the last season but was never really given a chance. I'm sure he'll do well at the Pics.

Steve Abbott, like Clarke, was never really given a real chance. He should fit in well at Rushall too.

Clarke's decent, but should really have scored more. Abbott was a bit part under Preecy as the midfielders ahead of him were top draw. Under Foyle he was given a bit more playing time but was pretty disappointing imo.
Clarkie will do well for you for sure.

Is Clarke that very tall strong striker? Will suit Rushall's style of play if it is.

Steve Abbott had a loan spell with Chasetown a while back, didn't impress me much.

Come on, Dash - you set yourself up for that one! :D

Any way, do you fancy your chances of a quick return to the Premier Division? What's your new squad looking like?

Clarkey will get you goals and do a good job holding the ball and winning headers upfront. Abbott didn't look up much when I saw him, admittedly that wasn't a lot last season.

He signed for us for a week before realising he actually wanted to be paid and left for you. Scored for fun at Kidsgrove.

Scored 100 goals in 3 seasons for us, despite missing large chunks of the last couple with a recurring groin injury. Keep him fully fit, and he'll no doubt find the net for you on a regular basis. He'll let his teammates know if he's unhappy with the service he gets, and expect a few bookings for mouthing off at the ref, though off the pitch he's a really nice guy.

To be honest I don't think it will be a quick return. The squad needed a much bigger overhaul than it's had and I've not seen the new additions yet as we haven't played any friendlies.

Btw, I thought you had a great season last year and throughly deserved your 8th place, although it pains me to say so! Obviously I'm now hoping you suffer from second season syndrome.
