Finished 10 of 11? I'm very jealous of that record! We've finished 6 of 10, and most of the Cheshire Cricket Alliance is like that. It's making the league very close this year!

So it doesn't rain all the time, even in the wettest summer on record! Or perhaps I'm saying it makes the glass more than half full ...

Is this your Cricket Team Proctor.....Korean of course !!!

Enough has been disrupted by this terrible weather. Lets hope this Jet Stream shifts its a$$ in time for the start of the games. Said on Sky News earlier that it could move north in about 2 weeks, (currently over Europe, should be north of Scotland) until then we have to endure similar weather, after that conditions may improve, may being thee word! what,........ next May!?!

Think it'll take the Atlantic hurricane system to shift the jet stream north ... nothing on the horizon there for the rest of July though. September could be a summery month though ...

On the other end of the jet stream the record-breaking temperatures across North America is effecting us. Recorded breaking temperatures across Ontario are not quite as bad as the 40c felt in Washington DC.

On the subject of cricket, we saw a group of young lads playing cricket in downtown Toronto yesterday. Made me proud it did.
