Whitby Town have picked up striker Graeme Armstrong from Blyth Spartans and highly-rated box-to-box midfielder Michael Tait from Harrogate Town.

Tait was last at Ashington. Harrogate released him from his contract half way through last season. Falling out with the manager or something like that.

Edit: Ashington supporter says he never actually played for them. So not sure if that means he's not played for like six months

He played for us but looked very very ordinary however he didn't play too many games so I may be doing him a significant injustice as he seemed like a decent bloke & Blyth fans rated him highly

To be frank, it's a fair drive from Harrogate to Whitby every other week :D

Yeah, got told after he got sent off he didn't play again? Think he just needs a healthy run of games. Started off slowly with us but soon got into his stride. Dare say a busy pre-season and a run of competitive games will see him back at his best.

Don't think he was sent off never really seemed to gel in the side but as I've said previously seemed a top bloke - probably go on to be outstanding with Whitby

Oh I thought he was sent off in your Vase game, or was that someone else? Mega confused now. This has got to be quite possibly the worst 'scouting report' ever.

I'd better simplify things a bit, he's called Michael Tait, he's about so high, black hair, can kick a ball in a variety of different ways.

Perhaps someone should have been sent off to make it a bit more lively then? I know our previous season would have been livened up with some violent conduct.

If I was describing Robbie I'd have added the words 'God like'.
