Six years ago Vics played in the third round of the FA Cup against Sunderland, and three years ago Vics played in the second round of the FA Cup against Lincoln in front of a crowd of 3,500, having just beat Charlton at a ground we can now not call home. Instead we will play our games at Stafford and find ourselves having to qualify for both the FA Cup and FA Trophy due to our status as an Evo-Stik Division One South side, and in the same draw as the likes of Jarrow Roofing Boldon CA. How times have changed! Well done Mr Rushe!

Gotta feel sorry for me old Chels & Kendal (or 'sheep troubling mint cake tax dodgers' if Nibbs is reading this - he always implies everyone is tarnished by some form of tax misappropriation) - potentially playing the entire Celtic Nation?????

No amount of gravy will help you there fella!

Hmm going to be a tough match for both SPS and Marine. Be interesting to see how Marine fare without Harvey and Rey. Any news of them being replaced?

Yes salkster,

Strikers: Karl Noon, Andy Fowler, Nick Rogan and Darren Byers have all put pen to paper a tough away fixture at your place, cups is what we dont do! New season, who knows we may just get a decent cup run on one competition.

Good luck Chels, they're throwing money around like confetti, despite their silly name.

Both away too, garbage draw in the Trophy.

We all have to qualify. You just get put a step back to the Preliminary Round ;)

I'm happy with our draw, two home games against good opposition should bring in a bit of money for both clubs. But I bet the club won't be looking forward to footing the bill for the Whitby coach, nor if that went to a replay!!

Sorry Chels, it's no longer a brewery ...... I think the site is still up for sale though if you've got £10 million -ish to spare

The connection with the Fed is a distant memory, the name of the club and of the ground is to do with UTS Engineering, I think.
